Alywn spent most of his career in Accenture with the Strategy & Consulting practise and a short stint with a local startup, advising and helping clients realise their digital transformation programmes. Here at Edgenta NXT, Alwyn shapes the tech commercialisation roadmap for Edgenta NXT and UEM Edgenta Berhad, looking to expand our digital businesses in new adjacent areas.

Syahrunizam Samsudin graduated from the Australian National University with a double degree; Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with Honours. Syahrunizam is a member of the Harvard Club of Malaysia and the Institute of Marketing Malaysia.

Prior to his appointment, Syahrunizam was the Chief Executive Officer of Touch ‘n Go Sdn Bhd. In the last 5 years, he was instrumental in transforming TNG into a mobility and digital payments champion for the country, with over 13 million users across multiple platforms.

He gained deep industry and operational experience in manufacturing and assembly, engineering, and oil & gas during his tenure as President / COO of Scomi Engineering.In addition to this role, he had also helmed the positions of Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Scomi Group Berhad.

Syahrunizam began his career as a returning PETRONAS scholar, serving in the Corporate Planning and Development Division, and later became the founding shareholder and COO of PETRONAS’ first IT Outsourcing company. He is a passionate technophile who believes in harnessing the power of digitalisation to improve a company’s growth trajectory, process efficiencies and cost competitiveness as a means of building sustainability and shareholder value.

Chua Yong Howe holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Strathclyde Business School, Glasgow, United Kingdom (UK), as well as a Bachelor of Information Technology from Charles Sturt University, Australia.

With 20 years of experience working with clients to develop technology-enabled and digital strategies, his portfolio spans a variety of industries including technology start-ups, consultancy, telecommunications, and energy. Prior to joining UEM Edgenta, he was the Country Managing Director for Eureka.AI, where he was responsible for the revenue growth of Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines and Brunei whilst establishing their footprint, as well as product and platform development.

Throughout his career, he has had extensive exposure to technology and digital transformation strategy development, as well as data-driven innovation for different organisations in the UK, United Arab Emirates, China and Malaysia.
